Soaking up moments
Soak up every moment of life that's beautiful to you. Just become a giant sponge and get every drop of it in your system. Because when hard times come, you can hold on to those moments and they will give you strength. Through this, you can more easily recognize the moments in each day that are worth absorbing. And during those moments, just let go of all stress, pain, sadness and negativity and just let in the feel of it all. The smells. The colors. The sounds. The emotions. The texture. The movement. Just SOAK IT ALLLL UP!
"Soaking up" a moment
Last night I hot tubbed with my ginger sister Brooke and her boyfriend Brenden. We turned out all the lights in the house and relaxed in the warm water. It had been raining, prior, but now the sky was clear and I turned my face up to the millions of stars. All I could hear was the sound of water, breathing and Bon Iver. It was so calming and enjoyable... till my neck started hurting hecka bad. Sooooo I decided to grab two big floaties. We laid them out across the entire hot tub, layed down and it was as if the three of us were simply laying on water! Brooke discovered a formation of several stars in one small area and we named it the bby circle galaxy. ;) We talked about different theories and about God and about the universe. Then we shut our mouths and opened our minds to the music. It seeped in our heads and filled our hearts. The blood was infected with this calming, drug-like music and it pulsed through our veins. Our rib cages filled with the remarkable things we saw above us and this oxygen was the sweetest I've inhaled in a long time. It was a dope feeling. I blinked and as my eyes opened once more, a grand view of the glittery sky appeared and I lost all memory of who and where I was. I was simply a viewer of the most mind-blowing art piece of all freaking timmmmeeee. I saw the steam rising up with my breath and raised my arms up and slowly danced my silhouetted hands around. Everything was connected and unified and perfect. :))) It felt so amazing to have my body submersed in warm water and have my face exposed to the chilled air. If stars and warm water and silhouettes had a voice, it would be the voice of Bon Iver. Reminiscing on that moment brings back the feelings and emotions and waters my mind with peace and warmth.
LOL K, that was way cheesy guys, haha. k bye now.
